Dummy/sleep

My baby girl has learnt how to take her dummy in and out her mouth, which is great! However, when we put her to bed she now tries to take it out her mouth to wake herself. We have tried putting her to sleep without the dummy, after about 45 minutes she starts fussing for her dummy. I’m not sure if it’s a sleep regression thing. She’s also started waking up every hour after her feed in the night. If anybody has any tips or experiences with this that would be great!

hahahaahha my little girl is the same. i’ve had to start putting the little mits over her hands on the sleepsuits so she can’t do it.

@Kate this is such a good idea, I’m trying this 🤣 Yeah, my boy is the same.. then he lays there smiling about it 😂

@Sophie literally same she cries when she takes it out but when she puts it back she laughs lol

@Kate thank you! I have tried the babygrow mits and she still manages to do it 😩 I hope it’s a phase x

Yes right there with you! I watch him take it out and throw it haha. But then he wants it and we go round and round. Sleep at nights become awful and then he sleeps too much in day and we're stuck in a vicious circle

@Cheryl They are little rascals aren’t they! I feel bad because it does comfort her but I don’t know what else to do, she’s adamant to have it and then not. I hope it’s temporary 🫶🏻 and I hope you get a good night sleep in soon! x

@Katie thank you! You too. Not holding my breath for tonight sleep haha he's had so much napping x
