Absolutely not, went off sick 2 weeks ago! So glad I did I was feeling dreadful and just finally feeling more normal! Maternity leave officially starts next week
I made it to 37+4, having baby at 38 weeks so left it as long as I could. Today’s my last day! I found I was tired towards the end of the day and the early mornings but glad I did it as I’d rather the time after with baby. Everyone’s financial situations are different though but I had to do this to work for me. PGP was pretty hard at the end too
My last day is Wednesday I’m 36+6 and I am so over it already! It’s weird I always thought I’d work until my due date but Ive been so tired for weeks I can’t believe I ever thought that was going to work!
Still working too, 36+4 at the moment but my last week is next week. I was meant to be doing 4 full days but I've cut down to 4 half days as I'm just knackered by the end of the day and feel rough as 🫣 I'm so over it, could have easily just jacked it in a couple of weeks ago 😅 x
39 weeks today and still working. I’m trying to hold out until labour but with baby getting more engaged it has been challenging to get through some meetings. I had to turn my camera off in a meeting today as baby had me grimacing.
38+2 and still working (until my due date). Pretty tired so kind of hoping baby comes sooner! 6 more working days to go 😉
I’m 36+1 taking off from work by 9th of may
35+5 and had my last day today. I’ve taken a bit of annual leave as well as starting mat leave before due date. This is baby number 2 for me and I cannot keep going until my due date! I’d definitely recommend taking just a bit extra time to relax and decompress from work before baby comes. I didn’t with my first because I wanted the time after but I think it’s so important to have that time!
My last day is next Friday at 36+5 - can’t wait!!!
