@Casey Thank you, that's really good advice, think I need to bite the bullet a bit with it!
Honestly it gets worse before it gets better but it was worth it for us in the long run- just pick a method that suits you and stick to it for a while. We can put him down awake/ if he falls asleep on us now it doesn’t really matter so it makes nap time much easier
We were like this but we started doing daytime naps in his cot maybe 2 months ago. It is really hard but we did the pick up/put down method. It worked but it took my boy a couple of days to get used to and now all of his sleep is in the cot. We tried putting him down when he was asleep and had the same problem but we just stayed consistent and then it became the norm for him
