Breastfeeding to bottle

Hiya, any advice on introducing a bottle to baby’s feed regime? My baby is 9 weeks and EBF although I have been trying to introduce a bottle since 6 weeks so that I can have a break in the evening when my partner is home. I’ve tried various bottles, teats etc but she just screams for the boob everytime. Any suggestions welcome x

Are you the one giving the bottle? We've found it's better when my partner gives the bottle and I'm not there as otherwise he only wants the boob from me.

I've been combi feeding (bottle and breast) since my LO was 2 weeks old (perhaps very young but had to issues). Anyway, I prefer MAM bottles (slow flow, number 0 teat) as well as MAM dummy. The shape of the teat is more similar to breast. I don't like tommee tippee personally

@Yana we have both tried but as you say perhaps I need to not be around and let him try consistently x

@Aliona thank you, we started with tommee tippee and switched to mam…she took a full bottle the first time with mam but that seemed to be a one hit wonder as since then she has flat out refused it!

I switched to bottle feeds when my daughter was 2 weeks and used Dr browns bottles

I was told to try do it consistently at same time each day, we found he only took to mam bottles

We use mam x
