Back Pain

I’m 23+4 and my back pain is unbearable at times 😭 especially going from sitting to standing and vice versa, also hurts a lot if I’ve been standing for ‘too long’ like just cooking dinner or doing the grocery shopping. I don’t want to take painkillers, mainly because I don’t think they’ll help I’ve tried a bath with muscle soak and Epsom salts but I’m not good at staying in very long and hot water bottles. I’ve asked my partner to give me a massage, but that’s yet to happen 🙄 so I’m open to any suggestions as I’m sick of walking like Mr Fredrickson 🏠🎈

Sounds like pelvic girdle pain. If you speak to your midwife they should refer you to a physiotherapist. There are bands belts and taping you can try. I found sitting on my ball helped. I would walk around with heat pads in my back

@Daisy omg, I’ve never heard of this but I’ve just googled it and that’s exactly what it is!! 😂😭 honestly it’s unbearable at times and it’s all down my legs and in my lower back, thank you! I’ll talk to my midwife on Monday and I’ll definitely look into a support belt 🤍

Oh it’s the worst. Heat was my best friend

@Daisy I did mention to my bf about trying a heat pack so I’ll definitely grab a couple and see if they help and I’ll try having a hot water bottle more often. I had a bath a couple weeks ago and it was soo nice but like I said above I’m not good at staying in 😂 so I’ll definitely give that a go thank you!!

Definitely try all the suggestions and add some yoga stretches where u can. I’ve been using Lemon Yoga on YouTube, straight to the point stretches and all you need is a mat and yourself
