I understand that breastfeeding isn't a reliable form of birth control, but what about trying to conceive or fertility?
I'm 15 months pp. My period came back at 4 months. I have regular periods that span 3 to 6 days. We are trying to have baby #2 and have been trying for 3 months now.
A mom I met who's had to go through other interventions said that my breastfeeding could be delaying conception because of something with my uterine lining during breastfeeding? I only nurse once a day before bed.
Could that one session be delaying me getting pregnant ?
Any experience or knowledge would be super helpful ❤️

Yes definitely ovulation test. I got pregnant first try while still nursing 1-2 times per day (kiddo then weaned after pregnancy began)
I was not able to get pregnant while Breastfeeding. After I stopped completely (at 14months) got pregnant in two months. My period was back 7/8m pp so it looked like everything was working but hormones are different while breastfeeding and could definitely impact conceiving
@Katharine @🪷Faith🪷 okay for ovulation test, how often are you doing them during the week? How often in one day? I also took the test for the 3 months that we've been trying and i didn't notice the positive line was significantly darker on any of the days I tested
