Does your LO hate nappy changes?!

Now my LO is crawling, he just immediately crawls away from nappy changes and leaves me chasing him round the room praying that he doesn't get anything on the carpets! But also when we're out and about he SCREAMS on the changing tables like we are torturing him! I think it's because he just wants to be moving but is this normal to hate it sooo much?

My oldest was exactly like this. I switched to pull up nappy pants and stopped trying to lie him down and just changed him standing up. It was 1000 times easier than wrestling a distraught baby and less messy too!

My little boy was the the same for about a month but seems like we’ve all of a sudden turned a corner and it’s gotten a bit easier again, little bit wriggly still but manageable and he’s not screaming. We used to grab a kitchen utensil to distract him 😂

YES! It sounds like torture when we have to do it.. Dread it in public places.. I’ve learnt how to change his nappy standing up whilst he holds onto the sides of a table etc and he usually accepts that fine luckily.. Bloody tricky though

Yeah right there with you. The only thing that helps is giving him a toy (or actually two toys, one in each hand😂) x
