Depends on your child and their sleep needs, the average seems to be like 1.5-2.5 hours. I would say let them sleep as long as they need unless its causing an issue- I only cap naps if I see a pattern of it disturbing night sleep. Could also be a fluke where they are just more tired some days, teething or ill. May also be the sign of starting to drop to one nap
Some toddlers do 4 hour naps but the usual is 2 hours in the middle of the day. My daughter did 4 hour naps at home but her night time sleep was awful. Once she started cutting her day time sleep, her nights improved xx Could he be ill or teething, if it’s not the norm for him xx
My little one is the same! She awakes about 5:30/6ish, goes back down at 9:30 for 1.5/2 hours and then is tired again by 2/2:30 and sleeps until 4ish and then goes to bed at 7 🙈 x
