Advice??

Hey mamas, I’m reaching out because I’m really struggling and feeling dismissed by doctors. I’m 25, have had 3 pregnancies (2 c-sections, 1 ectopic), and had my tubes and right ovary removed in the last 3 years. Since then, my body has felt totally out of control. I’ve been having: • Extremely heavy periods with big clots (larger than a quarter) • Intense pain during periods and even when pushing for a bowel movement • Fainting spells, seizure-like episodes, chronic fatigue • Constant random pain, headaches, and feeling like something’s “thumping” under my ribs My labs showed severe iron deficiency (HGB 7.6, Ferritin 5, Iron 9) despite taking 100mg iron, 1000mg vitamin C, and vitamin D daily. My potassium was also low. EKG and d-dimer were fine, so the ER said everything was “normal.” But I know my body and something is not right. Has anyone here experienced something like this and actually gotten answers? I’m wondering if it could be endometriosis, adenomyosis, POTS, or… something else entirely. I’d love any advice, stories, or just to know I’m not alone in this.

What kind of doctors have you seen and what have they been saying?

I’ve seen my gyno my ob I’ve seen a hemologist I’ve gone to the er countless times for it also because of the seizures and pain but they don’t give many answers just ground it all to my anemia

As someone who has POTS, hormonal issues, and chronic illnesses. My suggestion is to see a cardiologist and endocrinologist. All of those issues can possibly be addressed by these two doctors. If you’d like to go deeper into my issues, please don’t hesitate to shoot me a message!

I did see a cardiologist back before my two kids and they told me I have something called mitral valve regurgitation but that was the only finding and they said that couldn’t cause the issues :(

You should go back to see the cardiologist for a checkup. Something you should be on top of. For sure see an endocrinologist, hormones play a huge role in a lot of things. Might need your prolactin checked. Also a lot of doctors don’t know about pots, believe in it, or know how to diagnose it. So you’re going to have to spend time researching the doctors covered under your insurance .
