Separation anxiety?

My LG is 4 months old (18 weeks this Sunday). My partner is at work 8-5 and usually I go to my parents house or out shopping with my baby, she’s around people all the time. But I’ve noticed whenever I leave the room, she will watch me walk away and then start crying. If someone is holding her; she will stare to see where I’m going. My partner was holding her to get her to sleep but she just cries for me to hold her. My Neice who has been there from day 1 went to hold her today and she just started crying but was ok after some comforting words and by singing “Row Row your boat” 😂. I’m not hating this, I love it 🤣 but can they get too attached at this age?

I’ve started to notice this from my baby girl who is almost 15 weeks! It’s always been me and her, I’m a single parent, but we see family/friends every day! The last few days if I leave the room and she can’t see me she will cry, this could be at home on our own, or even out with family/friends😬 She’s always been so happy to be with anyone else, so this is a very new thing for us too😅

My baby girl does that too she is 3 months every time my husband has her she will stare at me and if move from where we are she’s starts to cry or if we’re in bed I need the bathroom she always wakes up 😂

I’m in the same position my baby is 13 weeks. We went away with family at the weekend and she would only settle on me and if i left the room etc would cry. She will eventually settle on her dad but after a lot of upset! Xx
