Husband gives me the ick

Anyone else’s husband give them the ick? We’ve had problems well before our daughter was born, but I find I just have zero tolerance for it, since having her and now I’m literally just waiting for a reason “bad” enough to leave, or am fishing for one, I just don’t know how to navigate that either with being married, child, owning a house, financial issues etc. I just feel so mentally checked out.

What exactly has caused the ick for you

I think its the fact that he cheated and when I asked him to stop talking to this woman when I was pregnant he didn't and I feel like its also the way he treated me before I found out I was pregnant and was ready to leave

That was my first sign that it was time to get divorced from my ex. I genuinely thought maybe I'd developed an aversion to sex or I was asexual, but in reality it was just him. The way he'd treated me, ignored my needs, neglected our kids... it all manifested into serious ick of him and even into an autoimmune disease I'm now stuck with forever. We did the individual counseling, couples counseling, the works. Sometimes it's just time to realize you're two different people that are better off separate.
