Is anyone else just loving this stage?

I finally feel like I’m loving motherhood at 8 months. This to me is definitely my favourite stage so far because I’m getting a little bit back in terms of my efforts I’m putting in with my baby. He just loves life and I’m just trying to show him everything and his little brain is soaking everything up. His little face gets so excited to see things for the first time, it’s so adorable. I just want to freeze time. I also feel like any crazy postpartum hormones are very nearly gone so my moods are more steady. I have more happy tears than sad tears. I don’t miss my old life as much now. My body is still a mess but that’s ok, I’ll deal with that another time. I know everyone experiences things differently but looking back I absolutely hated the new born stage. I was NOT OK 🙈

Nope, mine only turned 7 months - she is from 29th Sep and past few weeks have been the most difficult in a while. She is just frustrated when left on her own even for a few minutes, she cant sit up or crawl so just angry.

Little one is showing more and more personality and it's lovely ❤️ I have 2 under 2 and oldest one has also picked up like "this is another child" now and I love seeing them together (though she still bosses him around) 😊😂

@Justyna yes about 5 weeks ago this is not how I felt what so ever and one day she just got better with being left on the play mat which is probably why it feels a lot nicer now. Hang in there 💪

@Hanna-Sofia aww that’s really sweet. I’m sure hard at times but they get to grow up together 🥹 not sure if we will be going for two under two though!! I think we’ve only just come out of the fog of becoming parents and need more time before the thoughts of any extra little people get added to the mix!

I could have written this myself. I am LOVING this age! It’s so much fun as you say and they are interacting amazingly now! Definitely my favourite stage so far x

Absolutely hated newborn, like the worst 4 months of my life but I love this bit! Everyone is like oooh now they are crawling it’s awful and I love having my little mate follow me around haha

@Gabrielle definitely I think if you had an unsettled new born it’s better when they get a bit older and happier.
