My lil boy has a feed at 2030 and is usually asleep by 2230 at the latest. He usually wakes up for another feed around 5/6 and back to sleep til 9 ish. A few times he's slept through til 8am. He's done this since he was about 8 weeks old apart from the odd night. He barely sleeps in the day though. Usually around an hour in two naps
Btw 7-8
My 5 month old goes bed at 6:30pm her last nap finishes around 3:30pm so I can’t keep her up any longer and she sleeps through with one night feed till 6am
I can’t remember if I read it or heard it from somewhere but there’s something about babies’ bedtime is around 12 hours after they’ve woken up to start the day. So if your little one is ready to start the day at 5.30, then around 5.30 he’ll be ready to sleep
Why don't you just let him have a little nap at 6pm instead? Then you can push bedtime later and hopefully get abit of a lie in in the meaning
I somehow made my boy wake up at 7:30 - 8 ish every morning and so then he goes to sleep around 8pm. Not sure how but before he wanted to go to bed at 6 and wake up at 6. I couldn’t really co-op and in the morning i just kept blinds on window and tried to keep him asleep as long as possible with feeding or cuddling and i guess it helped 🤷♀️
As well he has nap usually around 6pm so might be that
Our bedtime routine starts from 6.30pm with putting him down to sleep anywhere 7:15 and 7:45pm. Sleeps through then until 7am. Occasionally our little one is tired at 6pm so we give him a really short nap for say 10-20 mins before bedtime routine starts. If you feel his bedtime suits better around 6pm when he is tired though, trust your instincts for your little boy. Give bringing his bedtime forward a go!
My son 5 months and has been going to bed for a few months now with the same routine bed between 8:30 - 9pm and is awake by 7ish. Naps during the day between 2/3 times.
My boy naps 3-4 hours over 4 naps in the day. His last nap is normally 5pm ish for 30 mins & then usually goes to sleep around 8pm and wakes at 6am. We were out a little later yesterday so things were a bit off track. He needed a nap at 6.30 because his previous nap was late. He then went to sleep at 9.15 and woke at 5am this morning. 8pm is his sweet spot!
Typically between 7-8. She has her last nap finish between 4-5.30.. very dependent on how long the naps have been. I prefer the last nap to end around 5-5.15 but she doesn't work to my schedule 🤣. She then wakes around 9hrs later (4-5am) for a feed and then sleeps another 2-3hrs.
Bath bottle bed usually takes place between 7-8pm every night then she wakes 6-7am next morning. She usually wakes from her last nap about 4.30ish and has a long wake window before bed but I just go with the flow not every day is the same and try not to stress about times ect x
Ideal bedtime for us is between 8-9pm. Big bottle just before bed. Unless she’s out of sorts for some reason (regression, poorly, hot weather) she sleeps through to about 7:30. It’a pure luck on our part. She has 4 naps a day totalling no more than 3.5 hours if I can help it. Only advice to shift bedtime/wake time would be to change it in 15 min increments and work from the morning rise as baby needs min 12 hours wake time to build sleep pressure. Anything before the set wake time, treat as a night wake and try to re-settle, keep things calm and dark etc.
My little one always went to bed anytime from 5 to 7pm. Just learnt to read his signs plus I know if he doesn’t get his normal amount of day naps he will want to go to bed early. He then sleeps 3 to 5 hours before asking for milk and repeats through the night. Lately he doesn’t even wake up properly just makes little noises to get me up to feed him. Wakes up all happy around 7/8 am. He is 5months
Depending on what time he wakes up from his last nap 6-7pm 6pm is not too early because my baby is the same he wakes up 6am no matter what time he goes to bed so you might as well just let him have a longer night
