SLEEP ROLL OVER CRYING

My baby keeps rolling over in her sleep and waking herself up crying because she then is on her stomach and it’s INFURIATING. every time I put her back on her back, she rolls over again and starts crying! I’m losing so much sleep. What do I do,????!!!!

They will grow out of it

It’ll take a few nights or a week or so and then she’ll figure it out! I would also do lots of practice during the day or rolling both ways. Or at least spending lots of time on her belly so she gets more comfortable.

Not sure how old she is or if you're able to put anything next to her, but mine sleeps on her side and she's kind of propped with a pillow on her back. She has this u shaped pillow that kind of keeps her in place.

@Danae Handley thank you, she’s an avid roller & often lays on her tummy to play. It seems like the shock of being on her tummy wakes her.

@Daniela she’s 5 1/2 months old

My baby girl did the same for a few weeks. I totally understand the frustration! Keep practicing rolling during the day. She eventually got comfortable waking and going back to sleep on her tummy. Now she almost immediately rolls to her tummy when I put her down to sleep and seems more comfortable that way

@Kendall thank you for this. A few weeks sounds horrific. I’m sorry you also went through this. It’s like watching an idiot walk into a window and be surprised it hurts every time 😂 I got 3 hours sleep due to the back to side to front to scream 🫠

Hoping baby learns much quicker for you so you can get some sleep! 🫶
