@Sophie I did think that about the closeness to 1, she does use a sippy cup so I will give it a try ☺️
Yep I would absolutely do the same as @Sophie - either sippy cup, 360 cup or straw cup. That’s what I’m doing instead of one of my BF’d at the moment, as she starts nursery soon so want her to just have BF morning and night xx
@Emily I mean I know a lot of children that still have their bottles until 2 (or later!) so its totally parental preference, but with being EBF and never accepted a bottle it seems another unnecessary hurdle in our never ending list of them🤣. But I hope she has milk in her sippy cup for you so you can get your health back on track🥲. I got another colour in my sons straw cup he uses so now he has one for water and one for milk and it seems to be going well🤞 x
@Sophie did you go straight to cows milk or formula?
@Grace straight to cows milk, health visitor last week said it was fine to do so, my baby is 1 on the 5th of June, she said a few weeks wont matter x
We moved from EBF to a bottle kinda cold turkey last month. Mastitis on both boobs plus him biting. Just couldn't cope anymore. He wasn't having it with me so I went out and left him with dad and he took it no problem. I also had Tu dilute formula with breast milk for a few days and gradually cut back on the breast milk. Best decision ever. He's sleeping much better now and only has 2-3 bottles during the day. Good luck x
Does your baby use a sippy cup for water? I mean each to their own if you want to introduce a bottle but so close to 1 I personally wouldnt and just offer cows milk in their cup. Doing it one feed at a time so its gradual/more comfortable for you x
