Period after birth
I’m 8 weeks pp and I’m EBF. I wasn’t expecting a period due to this however it has started already. Is this normal? Does that mean my milk supply is lower than it should be? Or maybe an indication of something else?

I got a light period at 9 weeks PP, and then I didn't get another one until 9 MONTHS PP. Hopefully the same thing happens to you. 🤞 It was nice not having one for a while.
My period started at 6 weeks. My baby is currently 6 weeks and 5 days and honestly feel lied to 🤣🤣 didn’t expect a period for months still!
With both kids my period started regularly after the initial post partum bleed! Had no issue with supply, breastfed my girl for just over 2 years and currently still breastfeeding my almost 13 month old c

It's unusual but to be that early but definitely not unheard of. It's generally not linked to supply, more to demand, so if you don't have any issues (i.e. baby is gaining weight properly, enough wet and dirty nappies, etc.) then there's no need to worry
