Start early, sooner the better! I’ve been trying for 6 weeks straight and she’s still not taking one!

My baby is now 10 weeks and been trying every few days since around 3 weeks old, it still takes a while as she's latching but we get there! Patience and finding a teat that baby is happy with we went through loads 💛

We got one of those tommee tippee "closer to nature" bottles and just went for it! Thankfully no issues. My husband usually always gives him a bottle when he does have one so isn't smelling me x

We use the same bottles as Anna and also only my hubby gives the bottle. We also used a lying down feeding position to mimick how she feeds on the boob not sure if it made any difference but she took to the bottle straight away

We started a bit of expressed milk cup feeding week 1 due to specialist advice and so hubby could do some feeds for me. It's a similar action lapping the milk they said n couple days later we moved to a teat no issues 🙂 x

I never had any problem with either of my babies! My suggestion would be to try with a bottle where the teat resembles your nipples the most!

Get someone else to give the bottle so baby can’t smell you. Start around 6 weeks once latching has been established. Be patient and try each night. It took my daughter a good week or two to get used to the bottle as part of her night feed.
