period

i know i’ve posted in this group before about this! has anyone who’s still breastfeeding gotten their period back? i wanna start trying for my second end of this year early next year but i have no sign of my period coming back (baby born 7/9). during the week, she gets two to three formula bottles a day when i’m at work and i’m only breastfeeding morning and night (except on weekends). idk how to get my period back unless i fully wean her!! i’m thinking about weaning at 12 months so maybe my period will return and i can start tracking my ovulation. curious other moms experiences!

I’m almost positive you are still ovulating when breast feeding, even if you haven’t gotten your cycle back! I would get some ovulation tests from Amazon and start tracking ovulation instead of tracking your cycle! That might help you :)

Baby born 7/8 and my period came at 5 months PP and I’m on same feeding schedule with baby at night and on weekends

I’ve never not had my cycle it just keeps changing but we were trying for our second too but thankfully it didn’t happen because we’re in such a hardship since I’ve gotten sick and wasn’t able to work

Our babies share a birthday! Mine still breastfeeds every 3-4 hours and I just had my first period on the 6th.

Baby born 7/4 haven’t gotten my period . I’m a pumping momma . Doc did tell me I still ovulate even though my period hasn’t returned.

I don't think it's possible to be regularly ovulating without getting periods, but you could ovulate for the first time at any time while you're breastfeeding.

I got pregnant before my period came back

Hi there! In my case, I don’t breastfeed during the night and only four times throughout the day, and I got my period one week ago (my baby was born 7/6). The rest of his meals are just regular food. I guess that weaning only during the night makes a big difference since I’m not stimulated by him for almost 12 hours.
