how old is he? my daughter is 7 months old and her ped. said to give her 3-6oz a day. Consider yourself lucky though 😆 because my daughter literally just spits it out, it’s a struggle to even give her 1 oz a day.

10 months is he on solids for 3 meals a day now? Real cereal with formula or BM until 11/12 mo of age Oatmeal Breakfast soft chewy bars/ nutrigrain Noodles/ real food now Morning snack & after nap snack? I'd establish a healthy relationship with food now seeing he's got a thirst lol

@Lauren yeah he has 3 meals a day and a snack he eats the lot he loves his food also. I’m just worried maybe he’s drinking it abit too much

I don't at all want to worry you but yes. He should only be having 4-8 Oz of water in 1 daily intake Does he drink formula or BM? Maybe he needs a faster flow for milk?

@Lauren he’s on formula. Has 3 8oz bottles a day a drinks them fine I’ve not long given him a faster flow

However 11 months to 12 they can have up to 8oz daily 13 months they can have 12oz daily of water It does go up as they age

Wonder if you step back a bit & try a slower flow sippy for water only lol, he doesn't know. This may be his way of teething too! But I would still inform his doctor so they know This could be signs of other things, don't want to worry you but better be safe than sorry xo

Try soaking a rag with clean water and freeze and offer it to him instead of too much water- it might be his gums lol

@Lauren he’s never been like it with his teething before (he’s got 4 teeth) he’s always been quiet. Chill just bites a teether of they bother him that’s about it. I’ve mentioned things to the health visitor but all I get back is “well come back to it at his next review”

I'm sorry but that's horrible.. like no. Lol 😆 🤣 only 4 teeth & 10 months yeah.. he is having some time getting those teeth out Sounds like a chill kid lol, doesn't cry or shake his head from pain 🤣 he's gonna be a toughie

Don’t stress my boys drank around 400-600ml since about 8 months old and even now he can drink up to 800ml in a day he just loves water x

@Bella is he completely healthy and didn’t affect him badly? Mines been doing it for about 2 months and seems completely fine but I’m worried still

Completely fine no issues at all, I took him to the dr about something unrelated and water intake was brought up and I mentioned he drinks a lot of water and if that was actually okay and she said it was really good as a lot of people find it hard to get kids to drink water x

I think that’s fine. I let my daughter drink as much water as she wants as long your little is drinking enough milk then I wouldn’t worry.

At 10 months my daughter drank around that amount of water and she is now 16 months and LOVES her water. She’s a good milk drinker too. Doctor was thrilled when I told him how much she consumed
