How am I sure my baby is teething?

Same. My baby even chews my face. However he has had teeth since birth. So, I am never sure

Yes that usually is all signs of teething , totally normal for them to run hot while teething.

i have all these same symptoms too :/ i think it may be the 4 month sleep regression and the red cheeks are from him rubbing his face trying to eat his hands more often...? ive also heard this is a key stage in preparing to eat solids

So one way you can tell if a baby is teething is by the extra drool, and he is always rubbing his gums and his mouth

i work in pediatrics!! i’ve actually asked my boss about this because i have a 4 month old going through the same. she said baby’s can show signs of teething months before they actually start to come in!!

@Yvonne i’m a pediatric dental assistant, and I talked to one of the dentist and she said that if you start to see the bumps on the gums of your babies gums, that’s how you know that the baby is going to start teething and excess drool is also another way that you can tell
