Potty training first day advice..
Is it normal for the first day to be completely full of accidents or are they just not ready?
My girl has had 2 pees in the potty once when put on when she woke this morning and same again after the nap.
But had 9 accidents. She hasn’t even done a poo today and been holding her pees. Both times she went in the potty was just a small pee followed by a massive accident after pants on.
She is aware when she’s had an accident but doesn’t seem to know before she’s going

We had 100% accidents for 3-4 days. It’s a huge learning curve! Just try and relate it to a habit you’ve been doing for almost 3 years. It’d be a tough one to break. Persevere unless it causes them distress x
Lots and lots of accidents the first 3 or so days and then it just clicked for us
Yes we had lots of accidents for three or four days and then it started to click.

Very normal. They're used to going whenever they want. You are training them to go in a specific place.
