@Kellie unfortunately i just can’t afford cloth nappys i currently only pay £20 every 1.5-2 months which is how much I’d spend on just 1 cloth one and whilst i know it works out cheaper in the long run i don’t have the money upfront thank you though x
How old is he?
@Laura about 7.5months
Ahh yes a wriggler then hahah, I would try the size up and see how you get on, i found as my son grew I changed nappy brands A LOT. Trying to find the right one for his size at the time so he wouldn’t blowout drove me nuts!
You only need 1 or 2 covers, no inserts needed. Look on Amazon for one cloth diaper cover sold singly. They are expensive w the inserts but you are buying cover only. Nothing else will prevent blowouts unfortunately. If you already have a reusable swim diaper you can also use that
Do his vests fit him or are they getting a bit tight? This can be the cause of the blowouts rather than the nappies x
@Kerri he’s 7 months and i’ve got him in a 18-24 vest so i highly doubt its that 🤣
Was only a suggestion. Hope you find the answer 😊
@Kerri thank you x
We’ve never had a blowout, we use cloth. What you can do, is size up, and get some cloth diaper covers to go OVER the disposable that way if anything leaks the real elastics of the covers will catch it and nothing will come out. I can take my boy out every day and have peace of mind that he won’t blowout poop all over the carseat, pram or me. Poop has never touched his clothes - the elastics caught it every time. Much like undies or bathers elastics. I don’t rely on any disposable to contain a huge blowout but the cloth has saved me every time.
