High risk of developing preeclampsia

Guys, I’m so worried! I just had my 20 Week scan and have been told that I have a 1 in 5 chance of developing preeclampsia which puts me at high risk. It’s one of the worst conditions you can have while pregnant as it could mean serious health concerns for baby and mum! Any advice to calm down my nerves, or past exp...

How to answer

Random one. At almost every medical/antenatal/midwife appt I’m asked “is this your first pregnancy?” At my booking appt I explained that I have been pregnant twice before, once in my early twenties and once 3.5 years ago and both ended in miscarriage at 8 and 7 weeks respectively. So when I’m asked this question I...

Feeling very let down and now panicking

I’ve been in and out of the hospital 7 times in the past 7 weeks for high blood pressure. Every time my midwife or I has checked it has been high for weeks. Also had a couple of occasions where there has been protein in my urine but on those occasions my blood pressure was normal. Every time I go into the hospital m...

High Risk

Is anyone else high risk?? I’m expecting a little girl October 16th and we are high risk for a few different things, including cystic fibrosis, short cervix, preterm delivery, and preeclampsia. Is anyone else in the same boat?

Blood pressure at 35+5

So so strange, my entire pregnancy every time I have an appointment my blood pressure is phenomenal, and when I check it at home it’s always a bit elevated. Nothing ever TOO crazy, but I just had one of 126/87. Is this the universe toying with my anxiety or do I trust the readings at my appointments over these?!

I need advice

I had my 8w2d scan and baby showed a strong heartbeat and great growth and on track. However, I am going to be flying to Newfoundland on Saturday and I have a HUGE fear of flying. Major anxiety, heart races, panic, etc. Will this harm my baby? I do have Ativan that I’ve asked if safe to take (which it is in small ...

2nd Trimster sickness & tiredness

I’m 16+1 and had only the slightest bit of nausea in my first trimester, it was the only real symptom that I had! Since 15 weeks I’ve now been getting really sick and so tired!! Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like it’s the wrong way round😂

Pregnancy fears

My first is almost 10 months and I’ve just become pregnant with my second. I’ve seen my midwife for the first time today and she was talking about how my womb hasn’t had time to heal and so they may be complications - I already knew it would be a higher risk than my first. A couple people who don’t have children hav...

Testing after reoccurring failed FETs

Hi all. I have just had my 4th FET failure and think it's time I look into further testing. I'm currently.funding by NHS and they have done all the test they can, which isn't many. What other tests have people had? I know of PGTa, wondered if there are tests to see the reason my uterus hates embryos. I also have a c...
