Newborn poop

I know breastfed babies can go days without pooping and babies her age cluster feed but I’m pretty sure my little girl isn’t getting full because she’s not pooping. She eats for 30-40 minutes and then death screams like she’s still starving. I know I make enough because I have replaced latching with pumping and I’m ...

Health Visitor- Help!

I’ve accidentally recycled the questionnaire that I was sent by the health visitor for the 27 month check.. I don’t want to rock up tomorrow and have the embarrassment of not having it ready. I’m already nervous about the driving and parking. I’ve found it online I think but could anyone just confirm I’ve got the ri...

I've done all the usual tricks, belly rub, bicycle legs, baby massage, bath etc. Nothing is helping. Any advice? Or will I need to conta...

Blood in nappy

Hi my baby is 11 weeks, has had blood in his nappy for 8 weeks constantly. Hospital advised to cut CMP out of my diet. I’ve cut it now for three weeks and there’s still blood. He’s on a waiting list for paediatrics but it could be up to 32 weeks wait. Anyone else had this issue?

We only have a shower, no bath

We're currently using a baby bath which sits in the floor of our shower, but once our baby outgrows that and it's no longer suitable, not really sure what to do! I know some children get used to showering from a very early age but not sure how to go about this. If you have just a shower, what did you do? 🙂

Don’t know what to do for the best?

So my girl is 6 weeks. She has really bad reflux on normal formula. Will scream in pain for a good hour after a feed and bring up milk quite a few times. She has been on anti-reflux milk which solved this issue but made her massively constipated. She was given laxatives to help with this but she was then having 10+ ...

Constipation

Does anyone know what I can do to help my lo to poop. It’s been over 24 hours and I’m a little concerned because he was going like every other nappy. He’s formula fed and 9 days old. He’s farting a lot and I think he’s got a bit of a sore tummy.

Babies toilet problems

I’m wondering if anyone else’s nearly 8 week old still has completely watery poo? My daughter has silent reflux doctor gave us baby Gaviscon which made my LO constipated. But that’s the only time my LO hasn’t had basically watery poo. It’s always explosive and seems to only be getting worse as it’s now leaking from ...

If you had baby #2 when your toddler was in daycare, did you keep sending them during your maternity leave?

I'm so worried about all the illnesses our toddler would bring home to our newborn (to be born in late winter).

Gassy at 11 weeks

Our baby has always had a digestive related witching hour, but her gassiness has significantly increased in the last week. Our formula has started the same, so I’m not sure it’s that and no diarrhea or rashes. Anyone else experience this?

Elimination Diet?

For anyone who is currently doing it. How do I know if a food I’m eating is bothering my daughter? I wouldn’t define her as colicky per se. But she is overall a fussy-ish baby. She’s happy when she’s nursing and usually for a few of her wake windows she is happy. But otherwise I feel like I’m constantly feeding he...

Visits

Assuming they don’t live far away, how often do your inlaws visit the baby? Also assuming we are not close and don’t really like doing visits due to issues there. Do you think there is a minimum we have to do?
