For mums who wear baby in carrier, how do you travel with a diaper bag and what are some cute options?

Am I right or wrong in thinking that when my child reaches 18kg I can’t have his car seat fixed by isofix anymore? And it has to be belted in? It’s a cosatto all in all rotate, the manual is confusing, I know the seat can take up to 36kg but it’s unclear whether the isofix won’t withstand over 18kg?
