Sleeping a lot

Anyone else’s near 5 mo old sleeping A LOT during day & night lately?? Heard it’s in prep for teething/growth spurt but it’s my first and I’m not sure if that’s true. Just wanna make sure I shouldn’t be concerned & see if it’s normal @ this age.

Tips for getting baby in her own bed!

My baby is 3 weeks old and slept in her bassinet next to me ok for the first week, now she only sleeps well on me or my husband. I am basically sleeping sitting up in bed holding her. I know this is not safe and neither of us are getting any good sleep. As soon as she is asleep and we put her in the bassinet she wak...

Those that have got rid of the dummy do your little ones sleep better since getting rid?

My little one is sleeping terribly at night. I think it’s a mixture of the 6 months regression, teething and the fact he keeps dropping his bloody dummy!! He is 6 months next week so I think now might be a good time to ditch the dummy?! But then part of me is thinking is it a bad time when he is already sleeping bad...

Double pushchair recommendations?

I current use a double pram, it’s the silver cross wave but having the wheels + 2 chairs is such a faff getting in and out the car etc. Does anyone have any good recommendations for a double pushchair that just folds as one? Something that is lightweight not too expensive pls 😊

Naps

Are any other little ones only taking 1 nap? How did you know they needed to drop? I’m thinking mine is ready. She used to take 5-10 minutes to fall asleep, easy. Now She is constantly fighting naps or straight refusing, taking 30+ minutes to go to sleep, taking short naps, waking up early and multiples times durin...

Bum ass baby mama vent

I have a hard time getting over what a bum her mom is and the fact the courts gave her full physical custody despite knowing everything. Her mom had her maybe two days a week for a couple hours at a time when they gave her full physical ( he let her have her whenever she wanted but she never wanted to and often didn...

Reusable nappies

I’m planning on using a mix of reusable and disposable nappies to help my child’s nappy rash. Can anyone recommend good reusable nappies? Does anyone send their child to nursery in reusable nappies? Not sure how all that would work with whether they’d be able to store the soiled/wet reusable nappies until collection?

Should I be worried?

So... Today I was baby wearing doing some shopping and I bought myself a crepe with Nutella and was just eating away and little man started wiggling. I looked down and I had dripped choc sauce all over his face and he was liking it off my jumper 🙈. It's as towards the end and not hot anymore so that's not a worry…

Sudden evening crying

Has anyone else had this or has any idea what it could be? My 3 month old who hasn't been a big crier at all has suddenly started inconsolable evening crying following being put in his cot. I've tried googling it and all of the results are about colic ending at 3 months - it's like the opposite has happened! We'...

Any recommendations for artificial Xmas trees?

Pramsuit help!

Not sure if anyone has this too but we have a few pram suits now and they're all a nightmare to get on. My LO isn't too big for them as I've tried 3-6months which actually swamp him but getting both arms in I find impossible and he screams the place down and they almost seem too tight even though there's loads of ro...
