After a tough few weeks of gestational hypertension and reduced growth, baby decided to make her own appearance at 37 weeks and 5 days. 4 hour labour with a natural delivery because by the time I got to triage i was already 7 cm and dilating fast! She is absolutely perfect. 💗
Kaiz’Lynn Camille made her arrival 10/30/24 @9:50 pm, 7lbs & 7oz , 19in long. 2 days before my induction. She had lots of meconium in the amniotic sac with her. Thankfully, it didn’t have any effect on her and she’s a very healthy baby!!
I had baby #1 via C-section in South Africa - it didn’t go well and I have quite bad PTSD. I am now trying for baby #2 and am terrified about the birthing process🙈 How is the C-section here in the UK? Is it elective? Can I be completely under anaesthetic (don’t judge💔)? My OBGYN in SA suggested I be under full anaesthetic for #2 because she delivered #1 and agrees it didn’t go well 🙈I realise it sounds crazy but I want another baby and don’t want past trauma to ruin that! Begging for help and support #alreadyfeelingguilt
I had a c section on Sunday and they used prolene beads when I had asked for dissolvable. Feeling really anxious about the removal of them tomorrow. Please does anyone have any positive experiences with them being taken out? I’m so scared.
In true Halloween fashion have lost a blood tinged mucus plug this morning. No contractions or anything like that, any idea how long after it takes to go into labor? Second baby if that matters…and 39+4
Had my midwife appointment yesterday and baby is 2/5 engaged and been loosing my mucus plug im fairly sure, am i right in thinking its thicker mucus than normal? My last pregnancy i was induced at 34 weeks so i have no idea on what to expect now Feeling lots of pressure and a increase in discharge 36 weeks today!! Nearly at term im excited but definitely tired
