Stay at home moms

I would like to know from other moms. If they were stay at home moms and being so much at home made you feel lonely, depressed, and isolated. Therefore, you decided to go back to work and felt better about yourself and felt more happy. I really need to know if getting a job will make me feel better, thank you!

Working during birthday

Did anyone else have to work during their babies first birthday? How did you feel about it? I’m a teacher so I can’t book the day off. I was planning on calling in sick but I was genuinely off sick last week with a chest infection and I was worried it’d look bad. I’ll be back around 2pm and we’re going to go to th...

Kit Days and SMP

Hi Does anyone know much about how KIT days work? I am currently on SMP. I’m debating on doing some KIT days towards the end of my maternity to boost my pay. I’ve looked into this online but I can’t make sense of it. I presumed I’d still get SMP but extra for the day I’d worked but from what I’m reading I feel lik...

Is it possible

I’m looking for a remote job that is customer service based like answering emails for a small company or maybe like an assistant to someone. Any moms have businesses on here looking for something like that? I have over 10years of professional experience ranging from sales to corporate support.

Is anyone actually not dreading going back to work?

I think it’s so shitty that the gov will fund childcare from 9 months but not match that funding to give us the choice to stay with our babies for a bit longer. Makes me feel so upset as I know no one is going to be able to look after my little boy as well as I can just because I know him better than anyone. Just a ...
