Don’t beat yourself up about it! What i noticed helps keep your sugars at bay are 10-15 minute walks one house after every meal. And if you eat something you think might spike it then walk for 25-30 instead. You’re allowed to have cheat meals! It’s ok if your sugars aren’t perfect as long as the overall week was OK. You’re doing great girl!

Don’t worry about it Mama! I was feeling the same way when I found out I had GD. It tore me because I fixed my diet and my numbers were still high. When you’re pregnant, the sugars are harder to break down. What helped me was just keeping my meals consistent. My nutritionist recommended me to eat a protein, vegetable and a portioned carbs. If you have a well balanced meal then you’re good. I stopped stressing on my numbers and it was lower throughout the week. Don’t worry, you got this!

My fasting numbers weren't going down even though my day numbers were great so I'm on insulin now. Toast the wheat bread. It further breaks down the glycemic index or something. If anything, keep up the diet and exercise and if all else fails, get on insulin sooner than later. You will both be ok 🫂
