Ovulation

Me and my partner are trying to conceive baby number 2 since having a miscarriage in September :(. I’m just finding it so difficult… So I tested last night and got my first smiley face and peak, so me and my partner did the deed and this morning when I did it I again got the same but I didn’t have intercourse as I was at work all day😔 When I came home and tested again it was negative. Does this mean I’ve missed my ovulation day? Can somebody help me please 🙏
