@Holly this was my suspicion but then I read lots online that every day is better. The clinic says you can’t do it too much which confused me. xx
And I would of thought that too.... but we got pregnant both times doing it once every two days 😆
I'd go by the clinics advise ...it is true what they say ..don't Google it 🤣♥️
@Holly last time I did it four days before, two days before, twice one day before and then once on the actually day of ovulation. So less than I’m doing now. I might mix it up next month!
I’ve heard every couple of days is better but the 3 times I’ve fallen pregnant (partner has low sperm count and motility) we have gotten jiggy morning and evening of peak and morning and evening of ovulation!
I got pregnant by doing it only once in a month and 5 days before ovulation and then the second time 2 days before ovulation and 1 day after. For us personally we tried every day for a while both times and it never worked but the less is more worked for us. I think ever couple is different perhaps or maybe just pure coincidence?
@Sarah does that mean a day of no jiggy in between? Peak is 36 hours before release 🤔
@Saff I might try what I did with my first. I have extremely low fertility chances and my partner has low sperm. Weirdly it’s 3 times higher than when I conceived 20 months ago. xx
As far as I’m aware you ovulate anywhere in the 24 hours which follow your peak so it would be consecutive days. Worked for me anyway 😂
@Sarah I’m not sure I understood that? (Sorry!)
I don’t think it’s 36 hours, I believe it’s up to 24 hours after your peak. So if my peak is Thursday I believe I ovulate Friday, and have sex morning and evening of both days
I just googled. How interesting! “Ovulation is considered to occur 28-36 hours after the beginning of the LH rise or 8-20 hours after the LH peak.” The 36hrs is if you have had triggered ovulation with drugs. Not natural ovulation.
Ah you could have been mistiming your baby dancing a little then. Just get jiggy loads around that time haha
@Sarah that’s definitely my ovulation date. It’s more the sperm quality/quantity I’m confused by and if every day is too much 😅 xx

Well I meant more if you’re presuming ovulation is 36 hours after your peak but it’s actually 8-20 hours you could be having sex a day late thinking you’re ovulating when it actually already happened maybe? My partner had low sperm quality too but took plenty of good vitamins. I’d recommend vitamin C,ashwagandha and coQ10
@Sarah yes, I got you! But we have assisted fertility and assumed that 36hrs was the same for drug induced or natural and thanks to you I now know it isn’t 😊 I’m more than covered in terms of baby dancing, I’m just concerned having it SO much before ovulation like every day and during and after reduces the chances as sperm might not have had the time to rejuvenate. He’s been taking impryl and doing acupuncture/Chinese herbs and given up heavy caffeine drinking and are still low but 5 times higher than they were in feb so getting there. They are higher than when we had our daughter. The clinic said we need to be optimal with everything as our chances of a second baby are next to zero sadly x
Actually we found it was better to have sex once every two days instead of everyday especially if the man has a low sperm count, doing it loads actually effects quality of sperm ...doing it more and more everyday doesn't mean your chances increase...doing it once every two days can increase sperm supply ♥️
