Thank you Laura. All helpful - I might get some bloods done. Sorry to hear about your miscarriage 💕
Same, I’m 35 and ttc my second child. Not sure how I’ll do it but want to do it after my mmc in January
I'm 37yrs and trying for my first child...had a miscarriage few months ago. I keep healthy with my diet, eating less processed foods, eating at home largely, lots of veg and fruit and good proteins.
Fertility foods - berries , eggs , omega 3 - an oily fish each week and tuna each week I saw an nhs dietician
For conception and to help avoid miscarriage - gynae told me low gi foods and less sugary stuff , less sugary stuff = less blood sugar peaks
With miscarriage chance being higher when over 35 - & with tommys baby charity showing a link with vit d deficiency and miscarriage - daily vit d = important. I got my vit d num from 33 to 77 to 96. Fertility clinic like that its near 100
Thank you so much everyone and Laura this is really interesting to know all of this! Thank you
Best cut down on the sugar!
@Laura thanks Laura for sharing. May I know which vitamin d you took?
@Mia one from Holland and barrett.. green and white box - can also order on amazon. First i took 2000 iu every other day and 1000 iu ( one tab ) on the other days - now its up - i take 1000 iu - 1 tablet most days. Occasionally 2 if i have a cold. I also drink actimel once a day - has vitt d in
Love it, thank you! @Laura
We concieved 2nd cycle trying when i was 36 but then sadly had an early miscarriage. Before we started trying i made sure my b12, feretin and vit D levels were all okay. Coq10 can be good 4 egg quality - American fertility drs swear by it
