I’m not sure you can ‘reverse it’. There is so much they don’t know about pcos and some say there are varying types and reasons. As everything with women’s health there is not enough research or support. I was told by one dr I couldn’t possibly have it as I was slim and had clear skin (turned out I did have it and have over 20 cysts on each ovary) and then an ivf consultant told me I had it because I was born with too many eggs which is absolutely not a thing! I struggled for years to get pregnant and as I was slim/ healthy .I couldn’t just ‘lose weight’ as the apparent cure all for pcos 🙄 like a lot of women with pcos I also had early losses. I got pregnant via injections to induce ovulation via the nhs. But during research I found intermittent fasting (ie not eating between 6pm and 10), low carb, low sugar, high protein diet as well as resistant weight training really do help with symptoms including energy, moods and balanced sugar levels. Look on YouTube dr fung insulin.

Thank you so much! I spoke with my doctor who said go on the pill to regulate my periods. I’m almost mid 30s and they’ve been giving me this same rubbish advice since I was 16 it’s ridiculous. It’s so interesting you mention intermittent fasting as I always feel better when I do that but didn’t ever link the two.
Yeah it sucks they just don’t care or understand it enough, only when you’re trying to get pregnant is it even mentioned really. So many symptoms associated with it and long term effects like fatty liver.
Wow she actually reversed it! That’s incredible thank you xx
