Yes in the same position. My partner isn't keen on a second but I am hoping to convince him! I do feel time is running out so even though I think it will be tough with two at least it will be over and done with in one go if you see what I mean? I also realised that if we start TTC now then my little boy will be 2 by the time new baby comes so childcare support increases etc. Trying to find all the positives I can!
Not trying now but had my first at 37 and was pregnant with second at 39 and had her at 40! I felt the pressure as well :-)
I don't want to add further pressure to anyone but I was really shocked when I heard how quickly female fertility declines. https://www.britishfertilitysociety.org.uk/fei/at-what-age-does-fertility-begin-to-decrease/ Just as more info: When I had my c-section for my first they recommended not getting pregnant for at least 1 year after to ensure healing was complete and this is also best for maternal mental health.
I recommend watching Giovanna Fletcher's interview with Arlene Phillips as she was in her 40s when she had her daughter, it made me think of being an old mother differently. I'm 33 and I really can't see myself having another one anytime soon!
Not a second child but third. Took so long to conceive my second that it's left us little time to consider the third I'm nearly 39. I don't think we'll have another but if I do I'd like it to happen soon.
