@Mallika thanks so much for replying - you’re absolutely not alone and I’m glad I’m not either 🥰 it’s just funny how things are different from that first pregnancy excitement and preoccupation! Our toddlers demand most of our thoughts and attention and energy! But I do think movements will help the connection 💕💕
Very true! I never thought I'd feel this different - first vs second 🥹 I'm so preoccupied and tired from the nausea that sometimes I wonder if I can do this! But then I think of how amazing it'll be to see them both together in the long run and that's what keeps me going 🥹 Can't wait to feel baby move! Apparently we will feel it sooner so fingers crossed x
I can agree it was hard to connect with second being occupied with first. My 2nd baby girl is almost 11 months now. And it was ROUGH in the beginning adjusting to the change but you get the hang of it. My 1st will be 5 in aug and their bond and love is sooo beautiful and makes me so happy. So yes its worth it.
I was the same, but I’m now 2 weeks post partum and in love with my second. We connected as soon as he was born. Try not to put unnecessary pressure on yourself xx
Gosh I thought I was alone 🥲 It's the same here. So preoccupied with my toddler as well as a bit background-anxious about postpartum...its been so hard to connect and feel excited 🥹 I'm hoping it'll change when baby moves too and I see a few scans!
