Unfortunately like previous said, this set of funding is for working parents. The funding your little one would be entitled to is the 30 free hours once he’s 3.
@Emily if they’re not working it’s only 15 at 3 isn’t it? 30 hours at 3 years old for working parents.
Yeah, neither me nor my husband work due to having disabilities so we are on UC, which means we have to wait until our little boy is 3 before we get any free hours for him.
I actually think he can - they’re not the ‘funded hours’ as such but as you’re both not working and on UC I think they still have the early years funded places for 2y olds who are from ‘deprived’ backgrounds/living in poverty 🤷🏻♀️
You can get 15 hours free at 2 years old. It's different funding

I’m pretty sure it’s just for working parents. When he turns 3 it’s for everyone.
