Yes sperm live 5 days so if you ovulate on cd14 any BD since cd9 will mean sperm are there waiting for you to ovulate. That's why it's good to just bd regularly before ovulation as well as around ovulation itself.
You are quite early in your cycle to find a peak. If you have a 28 day cycle you would ovulate around cd14 and peak a day or two before. It is good to test through the whole cycle though. Maybe test again later though as it's recommended to test after 10am. LH builds in the system later unlike HCG for pregnancy tests which are best with fmu.
