My doctor said there’s a very low threshold for what you should bring your small baby in for, so if you have even the slightest concern, it’s never a waste of time xx
I was like this with my first too. When ended up in a&e a couple of times because I was panicking about something (I’ve learnt that if you call 111 they will always just tell you to go to hospital with a baby). A doctor told me they’d much rather see a baby/child that can be sent home than one that’s not been checked out and ends up needing treatment. Never feel bad about getting them checked out.
Thanks all for the advice - this makes me feel much better!
We’ve been in hospital three times since she was born 😭 once for an infection, second for Covid and third because she managed to scratch her lense. I joked with my partner we’ll get a name for ourselves! x
I haven't been to drs but have been to hospital the first week or two she was born
3 as well and this is my second. Would have been more if it was my first though.
More times than I can count. I felt a small bump under his skin on one occasion that most people would have ignored and ended up being a risk of serious infection which was prevented due taking early action.
Id say just be 'one of those mums', trust your gut and don't let them feel like you're doing anything wrong. Rather that than anything be wrong and you not do anything.
