With my first pregnancy I failed my 1hr with 155 (140 was the limit) and passed the 3hr. This time I failed my 1hr at 145 (140 limit again) and failed the 3hr.
I failed my first, passed my second!
Even if you do fail the 3 hr, it's not that bad I promise. The finger pricks are annoying to start with, but you get used to them. The diet is way better now than it ever has been because so many keto options exist (don't do a full keto diet, but keto-friendly treats and breads and such can be good diabetic substitutes). I had to do insulin before bed for my fasting numbers and even that wasn't that bad once I got over the needle (if you're super needle averse you can get a pen, but it's less likely to be covered by insurance in the US according to my provider).
