constantly snacking

i’m 4 months PP and i feel like im constantly snacking/always hungry. i have been consistently gaining weight since i initially dropped weight after giving birth. im taking anxiety meds and i also got an iud, idk if those are factors? i have never had an appetite like this. i’m just not confident at all anymore 😭

Are you still breast feeding or pumping?

I feel the same😭 7 weeks pp I was back in my old clothes and now none fit again. I’m exclusively breastfeeding, walking and working out everyday, and eating pretty well and the pounds are just packing on😭 I’m not birth control though so idk if it’s just a hormonal thing maybe

^ same here . Low supplier here . I gaining lots of weight post birth and found stretch marks I didn’t even get during pregnancy 🥲

Fruit, or lactation food( smoothies with coconut milk, snack with oats, ) and high protein. But I read that you need high CALORIES if your breastfeeding because you making a ton of fat in your milk. Eating “ healthy” makes you feel absolutely starving.

@Isabella currently eating a high fat and protein diet for breastfeeding, but only carbs I’m eating are berries and whole milk. By eating well I meant not eating junk food (sadly😭)

@Kiki THIS! on 4th of july i was wearing pre pregnancy jeans and now they’re not even close to zipping 😂 i just try to remind myself that i just grew a human and my hormones are changing and it’s normal

Have you checked your TSH levels lately? Unfortunately, postpartum thyroiditis is more common that we think😓
