Sorry this has happened to you! I also had preeclampsia with my first and totally understand! Luckily the baby is full term now, the team at the hospital will take care of you both and you're in safe hands now! Try to rest if you can, sending hugs
My cousin was born at 28 weeks due to Pre-E and a friend of mine had her baby at 32 weeks, the hospital will look after you and do everything in their power to make sure you and little baby are safe and healthy. Hospital bag isn’t the end of the world, they’ll provide you with everything you need and you’ll be home safe and sound in the blink of an eye. Best of luck! X
I had my October baby last week for to suddenly developing preeclampsia. I had him via emergency section and it was actually a nice process. He was born at 34 weeks and already within a week is off all support. My preeclampsia hasn’t resolved and I’m still in hospital. But it hasn’t been a bad process xxx
Absolutely hun! I’m so sorry your care team hasn’t been listening to you! Everything will be ok. Deep breaths. If you deliver the hospital will have emergency supplies for you and baby till someone can pack and bring your things. If it helps my sister was induced for pre-eclampsia in march 3 weeks early (in NY state in the USA) her and Bubs did wonderful and there was no NICU stay. Try and relax as best you can to keep that BP down (I know not helpful, being told to relax when you’re stressed). 🥰 sending all the peace, strength and endurance your way!
