Introducing cows milk

Does anyone have any good resources or advice how you’re weaning off formula and on to cows milk please? I couldn’t find much on the NHS website. For example do I mix a bit of cows milk into formula? How much do I add and how many feeds in the day?

My hv advised me there should be no need to mix it with formula as most babies will have been having it in their porridge, cheese, wheetabix etc. my daughter is 1 next week and we transitioned last week as our formula had ran out. The hv was happy with us doing that. You do need to give them a multi vitamin when they go on cows milk though. My daughter was having 2 bottles morning and night, but last two days she’s not been interested in a morning bottle.

I came home from holiday and put my daughter onto cows milk as she was due to start nursery the week after and didn’t want too much change at once! And I didn’t mix it just went straight in with the cows milk and she has been fine, infact she prefers her warm cows milk to formula!! I am still on 4 bottles but will be replacing with 1 with a snack soon when she’s ready xx

I just swapped her straight over to cows milk. She didn’t react to it at all. Drinks all her milk as normal x

Thanks all, what do you use to give the milk in? Cup with straw or bottle?
