Formula feed

Hey , can anyone help. My little boy is nearly 6 weeks old and taking 6oz every 4 hours but at night time lasting stretches of 6 or more hours without waking for feed. Couple of people have said to me it’s to much , but he is so hungry that I had to up him to 6oz and he finally settled. Anyone have any advice, am I doing something wrong ? 😑

As long as he isn’t overly spitting up and getting belly aches. I think it’s fine! My son was born 9lbs and has a HUGE appetite. I always fed until they were full. Never really watched oz

My son would do the same. As long as youe baby baby is gaining weight and seems well in himself, you're fine. My baby is such a good sleeper.

My daughter did the same! She was always so hungry and a great sleeper. She’s 3 now. Like the other mom said above me, so long as L/O isn’t spitting up excessively, there shouldn’t be a worry. If you’re still worried, give a message to his pediatrician just to ease your mind a little.

My son is 6 weeks and was 9lb 1 when born he’s on 6oz of breast milk every 3-4 hours admittedly he’s already in 3-6 months clothing but everything I’ve read says it’s ok and to feed when cues show and that they know their limits

As long as your baby is healthy and happy o don't see any reason why it should be wrong your doing what's best for your baby
