Aldi sells their own-brand formula - not sure if it’s £7-8 for a big tin? As Colette was saying infant formula is so heavily regulated that it’s all essentially the same stuff. We went to an NHS antenatal feeding course and the course leader said the same thing.
Is there a reason why you're not just picking up the formula that is sold everywhere? Aptamil, cow and gate, sma etc? What do you mean by 'clean'? They are all so rigorously regulated that they are basically the same thing in different packaging?
Bobbie. Or by heart.
@Colette @Johanna @Jess What you say is pretty much true in the UK, I’m not sure whether it’s true in the US where the original poster is based. Even in the UK, although the formulas have the same nutritional value, some contain ingredients that some people don’t want to give their babies, e.g. palm oil or fish oil.
@Colette it’s not in the US
@Jess she’s in the US. it’s not heavily regulated here
@Sophie yeah I’m aware. It depends on what you’re comfortable with giving your baby essentially but I’m saying there’s no “bad” formula (in the uk at least) even if price differs
@Colette and I’m just saying that your advice based on UK formula isn’t helpful to someone in the US
@Sophie oh, sorry! Just saw the location of the poster😂
@Sophie she didn’t specify so? 😂
I supplement with byheart
@Colette yes she does. Her location is at the top by her name
@Ashley oh well someone from the uk might see it and it might be helpful. No biggie
@Colette very true. Right now there’s a port strike in the US and kendamil and being bought up in stock by people so it’s hard to get right now.

@Maryam Why aren't you able to buy it online? We used to get it online from Target and Walmart but both of our local stores had them too.
I got By Heart as a backup to breastfeeding. It’s pretty similar to Kendamil (which I wanted to get).
@JL Right now there’s a port strike in the US and kendamil and being bought up in stock by people so it’s hard to get right now.
@Johanna Does Aldi still sale formula? I thought it was discontinued.
@Ashley the port strike ended so hopefully they restock soon. OP, You might be able to find some on your local Buy Nothing groups from moms who don't need it anymore
@Jess I meant good ingredients with no corn syrup .etc
@Chey probably not in the u.s
@Colette it’s literally at the top of her post 😂
Happy Baby Organics- but right now they're only making lactose sensitivity formula... and that might be getting harder to find too 🫤
I have used Bobbie for both my kids for 3 years. It’s a little expensive but it has no palm oil or corn syrup and it’s organic. They have also started selling in a lot more places like target. It also follows EU formula regulations even tho it’s made in the US so it’s just as good as the European stuff
I got told by my health visitor that baby formula is so heavily regulated that the ingredients don’t differ too much between the cheap and expensive stuff, so might as well just get the cheap or mid range. Her words.
