Protein intake after strength training
I usually fit my workouts in after midnight. When the kids are sleep and the house is quiet. Its a habit for me to workout at this time, and seems like the bedt time for me. By this late in the day, I've already hit my caloric window and don't feel comfortable getting in a protein shake (or other meal with protein) until the next day, and my last meal with protein usually is by 9 pm at the latest bc I try to stop eating by then. Am I strength training for nothing, since I'm not getting protein in right before and after?
