@Lauren he's already on size 3 😭 thank you for the suggestion xx
Hey Tyla, I feel for you, dealing with your little one's feeding struggles must be really tough. It's great that you've tried so many things to help him, but it must be frustrating not seeing much improvement. Maybe consider reaching out to a lactation consultant or a feeding specialist for more tailored advice and support. Hang in there, you're doing your best for your baby boy!
Have you tried cups instead of bottles? You could even try spoon feeding it to him.
Are you weening? He could be ready to explore new textures
Check his tummy for gas too. Do baby massage on his tummy etc see if that makes a difference. Defo stick to the formula he usually uses just up teat size and offer beaker insead of bottle try warm milk too. Good luck
@GMF tried open cup & sippy cups, he's not interested in either it just drowns him in milk. And I mixed his formula with carobel prescribed from gp to spoon feed it him but he wasn't having it haha. Thank you for your suggestion x
@Cass I had to attempt some early weaning with baby porridge made with formula, but he didn't have a lot & then drank less milk because he was full. So didn't help much. Thank you for your idea! X
@💚Niecey🇯🇲🇧🇧 tried it all 😭 he refuses cold milk and spits it out, so only ever had it warm. Done massages, bicycle legs, warm baths etc incase it's gas... still won't feed properly. I'm losing the will to live 😭🤣 thank you for your suggestions though x
@Tyla and doctors say hes fine? No thrush etc? Id start weaning then he might genuinely just want to chew lool tryboiled carrots and potatoes it might be a texture thing. Give him a tiny bite of whatever youte eating and see what happens
@Tyla keep trying hun, he might be ready for something more solid like broccoli or even boiled carrots as someone else suggested
Have you tried going up a teat size as well? He could be bored of the smaller size maybe xx
