Thankyou so much. I've seen so much conflicting advice online about milk so I wasn't sure. Like some say at 6 months to introduce single flavour vegs once per day, and then by 7 months to introduce one meal per day and drop 200ml of milk.
No need to drop milk feeds at all. When baby begins to eat more they'll drop a feed themselves naturally. Usually happens at around 10m
Definitely don't drop any bottles until your baby makes 1 year old. You're just introducing food, but their nutrition comes from milk. Don't change anything with the milk
Thankyou guys! I will keep introducing food and naturally he will drop the milk. Why is online advice so conflicting?!
No need to drop any feeds, baby will let you know when they’re ready to drop feeds. As baby is introduced to more food etc, bottles will naturally drop ☺️ by 10 months we were on 3 meals, and 3 bottles and remained that till she turned just over a year old when she then only had 2 (morning and bedtime) x
Always seek advice from paediatricians or nurses. Online advice should never be followed. Even the advice in these groups will not always be what’s best for your baby. If you’re unsure about anything seek medical advice and trust your own mother’s instincts.
Thankyou so much guys 🤗
Not supposed to drop any feeds as milk is their main source of nutrition until 1! you’re supposed to keep the same milk feeds and only add a few bites of food 1-2 times a day and gradually over time their appetite will increase and you add food, not take away milk
