Urine sample
Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone else has had this result with their urine test at a midwife appointment ? I just met my midwife at 22 weeks and she dipped my urine and it contained small amounts of blood and protein. She is sending it away to test for a urine infection. It’s got me a bit worried 😖 anyone else had this ?

Thank you 🙏🏻 it just took me by surprise because Iv had no symptoms that I’m aware of for a UTI so it caught me off guard. Thankfully everything else was perfect like blood pressure and baby’s heart beat 🩵x
Make sure you drink plenty as well sometimes you can flush it out without antibiotics. I didn't have any symptoms the second time but they sent it off and it was positive for uti x
I had the same but my test came back with nothing to worry about so I didn’t need antibiotics. The midwife said usually when they get sent off for small amounts it’s untraceable in the lab and nothing to worry about x
@Kas mines came back nothing too in the end thankfully x

Yes, they will likely just give you antibiotics, nothing to worry much about. I've had 2 urine infections so far this pregnancy x
