Other half pregnancy announcements!

I find this hard to imagine, because I didn’t really “announce” to my other half, I told him I was going to do a test, went and did it, and then brought it to show him. There’s no way I could have hidden it! Massive congratulations, and hope someone can help you 😊

I mean, I was 17 so my partner was in the room with me as we turned the test over so I haven’t got much of an announcement to talk about other than, surprise you knocked me up, the test don’t lie😭

The first time I was in A&E for heart palpitations and the doctor actually told me I was pregnant after a blood test, and that as the doctor told me it was the exact moment my fiancé walked through the door!! 😅 the second time I found out just before Valentine’s Day and put my son in a big brother top and wrapped up the test!

Congratulations!! I’m in the same boat as you! Just found out a few days ago and will tell my husband over dinner this weekend. I ordered cupcakes with baby decorations to serve at dessert.

First time I just told him as soon as I found out as it wasn’t planned (but super welcome). Second time I did a test and again just told him.. I never even thought about ‘announcing’ it to him tbh.

I fell pregnant on our honeymoon so i printed all our favourite photos and stuck into a photo album we got from the airport on our way home. At the back I stuck the positive pregnancy tests. There still stuck in there to this day ❤️ Best of luck with the announcement, enjoy every minute it goes so fast 🥰 I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy xx

I made a picture with a photo of us from our engagement shoot and used wooden letters to write Baby (surname) due july 2024 below it. I then laid this on the bed, along with tests, a hat and a baby grow. I then set up my phone to record and played our first dance song in the background. I told him that i changed something in the bedroom and asked him to close his eyes. Then i took him into the room and asked to open his eyes.

@Sophie thanks for sharing 🙂 oh trust me hidding these last 3 days has been tough but I also was still in a happy shock and I've been testing every morning just to realise this is REALLY happening! So so happy I just want him to have a special announcement surprise without having to go to work the next day 😂

@Lena amazing! You'll have to let me know how to surprise went !! I still haven't quite decided how and where but Saturday afternoon he'll receive his surprise one way or another 🙂

@Allie that's adorable 🥰 I did something similar the 1st time and layed it out on the bed with a teddy and a baby top that said "I love my daddy". Unfortunately things didn't work out back then so I've been aiming for this announcement to be slightly different and I love the idea of involving our little pooch!

First time I came home after being 5 days late. He got tests on day 4 and he basically watched me pee into cup and cup the test . 2nd time I just took one and was shocked and scared but showed him. ( that one ended in an MMC) this time we were trying and I took it secretly and then lent it on his shoulder as he watched tv. Nothing special lol

I just showed him the test 😂😂

Announcement day today!!! 😍 been getting so haaaaard to hide it until the weekend 😅

ANNOUNCEMENT WAS A SUCCESS! Went for a walk, told my other half to go to a tree a bit further ahead because I wanted to show him a new trick our dog could do 😆 got our dog to sit, put a bandana saying Big Bro and then walked to my other half, called our pooch and he came running over. My man was so happy he burst into tears 🥰 that memory will always stay 💓

@Allie probably should have mentioned that 5mins before I found the right spot in the park, Woody jumped in the muddiest puddle and his bottom half was black 🤣 couldn't have made it up!
