@Heather this gives me so much hope. All I been reading is being trying for years after having the depo 🙏
My depo is due to run out on November 19th. Im hoping it doesn’t take too long to have a period so we can start trying. How are you finding it? Following this!
I was on it for 10 years without a break too! I was expecting it to take ages as that's all I'd read online but nope! My cycle was back 3 months after the missed depo and I have no issues during her pregnancy
@Sam had my last shot last November, only 4 months ago have we been TTC for our 2nd. i’ve been bleeding none stop since February which has thrown everything off, only this cycle have I had a bit of normal one (by this I mean a break from the bleeding 🙃). It’s been extremely hard for me mentally and physically already, I can’t imagine what pain people have gone through doing this for years. I am worried about the stereotype of withdrawing off depo is the difficulty to conceive (which I wished they warned me at the start, I had the depo straight after the birth of my 1st when I was out of it). I am sending you all the baby dust once you depo runs out ❤️
I came off it for 8 months last year and we just used condoms and I bled within 3 months. We then decided we didn’t want another child so I had it again in August. Now we have decided we do want to try and I’m so annoyed at myself for having it again and should have just used condoms. I didn’t realise how hard and long it can take with the depo shot. I didn’t bleed last time just had really irragler periods so I hope it’s not like that this time. Are you tracking ovulation? Sending baby dust to you xx
I fell pregnant with my daughter 5 months after the first depo I "missed" (not the last one I had)
